Apatin Brewery is one of the leaders in beer production on the domestic market. The head office of the company is located in Apatin, the commercial center is in Belgrade, and distribution centers are located in Odžaci, Indjija, Mladenovac, Novi Sad, Čačak and Niš.
In 2012, Apatin Brewery became a member of one of the largest global brewing companies, Molson Coors Brewing Company, that, in addition to markets of Canada, United States, United Kingdom and Far East, operates on the markets of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Montenegro, Romania and Slovakia. After the integration with Molson Coors, the Molson Coors Brewing Company holds the third global position in the brewing industry worldwide since 2016.
Annual operating capacity of Apatin Brewery amounts to four million hectoliters. It is interesting to note that during just one day 15,000 hectoliters of beer are produced in the Apatin Brewery, which was the total annual production in the second half of the 19th century. Today, Apatin Brewery has 750 employees and supports and sponsors a number of cultural, music and sport events, on the national and regional level.
Brands of the Apatin Brewery include Jelen Pivo, Jelen Fresh, Jelen Cool, Nikšićko Pivo, Nikšićko Tamno, Apatinsko Pivo, Lowenbrau, Staropramen, Beck’s, Stella Artois, Corona, Hoegaarden and Leffe.
We are proud winners of prestigious awards “Best from Serbia”, “Best from Vojvodina” as well as the “Brand of the Decade” and “My Choice” awards. Jelen Pivo was declared “The Best Beer of Beer Fest” eight times on the Belgrade Beer Fest. For fifteen years in a row Jelen is the winner of the international quality selection “Monde Selection”.
As the responsible employer, in 2010 and 2012, Apatin Brewery, based on the opinion of its employees, was selected the overall Best Employer in Serbia and declared employer offering best development opportunities, maintaining best interpersonal relationships and providing best conditions of work.
In addition to product quality acknowledgement, our campaigns won a number of awards in recent years owing to their creativity and originality.
At the annual award ceremony of the Association for Serbian Market Communications (ASMC) awarding authors of best creative work, in 2016, we won the Promotional Integrated Campaign category: alcohol drinks for Jelen Srbizumi, award for BTL activities on non-standard locations for Jelen Nefiltrirano – Trojanac and Golden Award for Brand Event for Jelen Nefiltrirano – Trojanac.
Our project “Champions Every Day” won the ASMC award in the “Brand PR” category, as well as the award for the best PR category campaign at the Cactus Festival in 2016, and on the Weekend Media Festival in Rovinj on the Balcannes show, the one-horned Deer (Jelen) was included in top 25 works in the region for 2016.
In 2017, again, the project “Champions Every Day” that became the symbol of long-term cooperation between the Apatin Brewery and the Paralympic Committee of Serbia, continued its success on festivals. On the largest domestic festival of integrated communication, “Cactus 2017”, the project won two awards – best individual work in the Media category and best non-profit integrated campaign.
Based on this project, Apatin Brewery was selected among the top six companies in the Socially Responsible Business category by the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.
At the ASMC award ceremony in 2017, “Champions Every Day” won the Golden Award in the Socially Responsible and Humanitarian Project category.
